Emailing Annual Statements
As Annual Statements contain multiple pieces of information unique to each family, the ChMS does not include an option to bulk email Annual Statements to families. However, individual Annual Statements can be emailed to families through the database using the following steps.
- If a parishioner calls you for an annual statement, go to Family Explorer. Use columns to search through and filter your data as needed to locate the correct family record.
- Click on the family record and then select "Annual Statements"

- You can chose a Detailed statement or a Summarized Statement.
- Enter the date range for the calendar year and click Print. The statement will be generated in PDF format and appear in the Downloads folder on your computer.

- You can chose to send this within the database as an email or navigate to your email and attach the file. If you would like to send it via the ChMS, select "Send Message" button within the family record.
- When the email pop-up window appears, enter the subject (e.g. Parish Annual Statement) and a message in the body.

- Click the Choose Files button, browse to your downloads folder. Click on the modified data column until sorted in descending order, which will put the Annual Statement PDF file at the top of the list. Select the file.
- Press the Send button and you're done!
