Multi-Parish Religious Education
As part of a group of parishes, you may occasionally need to add students from another parish to your Religious Education program. The good news is that this is quick and easy to do using the Multi-Parish functionality in ChMS.
Important Note:
Parishes that are clusters/collaboratives/pastorates and using the Multi-Parish functionality must have the same levels set up in each one of their churches.
When you log in to ChMS, your parish listings will show up in the upper right corner near your profile information. Just click on the parish where you’ll be setting up your Religious Education Program, and you’ll be ready to move to the next step.
To add a student from another church within your collaborative/cluster/pastorate, just scroll to Groups > Group Maintenance, and open your Religious Ed Student Group.
Next, on the Save Button, click the down arrow and select Multi-parish. This will let you view the members in ALL of the parishes that you have access to within your collaborative/cluster.
You are now ready to begin adding students to your Religious Education Student Group.
