How to reset your password
You may reset your account password if you've forgotten it and need to gain access to your account, or if you just want to update it to something different.
Reset your password - Not logged in
Use the steps below to reset your password if you're not currently logged in to your account.
- Enter your email address - Go to app.ecatholic.com, enter the email address you used to register your account, then click Next.
- Request a password reset - On the Enter Your Password screen, click the Reset Password link to initiate a password reset.
- Click the button in the Password Reset email - Go to the inbox for the email address you entered in step #1 above and locate the password reset email you should have just received from eCatholic. Click the Reset Password link / button in the email.
- Create a new password - Enter the new password you'd like to use to log in to your account.
- Enter a 2FA security code - To get logged in to your account after resetting your password, you will be prompted to enter a 2FA security code as a final step.
Reset your password - Logged in
You may also reset your account password from the My Profile screen in your eCatholic account. Here are the steps:
- Log in to your account - Go to app.ecatholic.com and log in.
- Go to the My Profile screen - Once logged in, go to the User Profile dropdown (top right corner of the screen) and click My Profile.
- Click the Reset password button - On the My Profile screen, go to the Login & Security section, locate the Password field, then click Edit.
- Enter your current account password
- Create a new account password
