How to create a new Channel in eCatholic Live

Do you need to stream from multiple locations simultaneously? Easily create a secondary channel within your eCatholic Live Dashboard to make it happen! This works great for organizations with both a Parish and a school, or a cluster of Parishes with different physical locations. Learn how in the steps below:


  1. Once you are logged into your eCatholic LIVE Admin Portal, on the left hand panel, you can click on Channel > Settings
  2. Click on New Channel to create the new channel.

  1. Next you will be prompted to provide the general information about the new channel including Channel Name, Description, Time zone, Users and Template (This will default to your original Channel) The Categories and Stream Quality will be copied from the Template Channel. Once the new channel is created, the categories and stream quality can be adjusted.

  1. Click Create.

You're all set! Your new Channel is now created and you can setup your equipment for it and adjust the Channel settings.
