How to schedule a LIVE broadcast

To schedule an upcoming live broadcast, fist login to your eCatholic LIVE dashboard:

Once you are in your dashboard chose the Schedule Event button on the right hand side of the screen:

In the scheduler you can add in the Title, Start and End Time and Date, how often the event repeats as well as other, non required, fields:

We recommend adding in the time and date of the event, for example: 9am Sunday Mass.

For the Start and End time, we'd recommend adding in some buffer time between the time the event actually starts and stops. For example, if Mass beings at 9am and typically lasts one hour, you could schedule your stream to begin at 8:50 am and run until 10:10 am.

Finally, you can choose how quickly the event will expire from your archives once the event has finished.

Some guidelines to consider so you don't run out of storage space:

Have frequently recurring events, like Daily Mass, expire after 7 days
Have less frequent events, like Sunday Mass, expire after 1 month
Have special events like First Communion, Speaker Series, etc, never expire

Once you have set your expiration date click Schedule Event at the bottom of the page and you are all set!
