How to delete a page
There are two ways a page can be deleted within your eCatholic website.
IN THIS ARTICLE:
- Method 1: Delete a page using the Site Map
- Method 2: Delete a page using the bottom bar
Before you delete a page
Before you can delete a page, you must first delete or move subpages found within the page.
The illustration to the right is an example of a series of page levels found in a Site Map. Each page shown on top
is considered a subpage of all the pages underneath it. Take for example Page 2. In order to delete Page 2 you must first delete or move Page 3. And to delete Page 1, you must first delete or move pages 2 and 3.
Removing or relocating subpages helps to make sure extra content is not accidentally lost when deleting a page from your site. If the option to delete a page is not available, it's likely there are subpages that need to be moved.
