Setting Fund Goals By Church
Diocesan users can use the ChMS to automatically generate Fund Goals by church after a fund is created.
Scroll to Funds > Funds Maintenance > open the fund by clicking on the fund name and click on the Goals tab. If you have not previously set any goals within the fund you will be presented with a blank screen.
Click on Set Goals where you will be presented with three options for calculating the goals for each church.
Evenly Across All Parishes: Will take the goal from Fund Information tab and total number of churches and divide it evenly across all churches.
Based on Parish Size: Will take the goal from the Fund Information tab and take a % of all active parishioners across the Diocese.
Based on Parish Contributions: Will take the goal from the Fund Information tab and take a % of all contributions.
By clicking View individual church goals can be edited.
PRO TIP: In the Report Library, you can use the Diocese Summary Report to compare the Goals set for the churches with to the Pledges and Contributions entered for each church. The Diocese Detail Report also includes the Goals at the bottom of the report.
