How to add an Instagram photo
Embedding an Instagram post on your website is incredibly easy using eCatholic's Instagram module. Here are the steps:

Drag and drop the Instagram module onto the page
Click Add Content > Social & Embed > then drag and drop the Instagram module onto the page.

Paste the URL of your Post, Reel, or Profile
After you drop the module onto the page, the
Instagram Settings dialog will appear. Paste the Instagram URL / ID that you would like to feature (see below for capturing the appropriate URL). Then, under
Type, choose the format that correctly corresponds with your pasted URL / ID. Click the green
Save button to save your changes.
How to locate an Instagram post's URL or ID
To find the information you need to successfully connect an Instagram post to the module, follow these steps:
For Posts and Reels:
- Go to instagram.com, then locate the account that contains the post/reel you'd like to embed on your site.
- Click on the image, then do one of the following:
- Copy the URL in your browser's navigation bar, OR
- Click the More icon (three dots) at the bottom of the post, then click Embed and copy the embed code provided.
For Profiles:
- Go to instagram.com, then locate the account profile you'd like to embed on your site.
- Copy the URL in your browser's navigation bar and paste into the Instagram Module, OR
- Type in the Instagram Handle of the profile you'd like to embed on your site (an Instagram Handle is the "profile name" or simply put, the characters that appear after the "@ symbol" in the profile name).
Once you Publish the page, your Instagram post will appear on your live website.
