Churches Tab - Families

In the family record, the Churches tab displays the church databases a family is connected to. Family records can be tied to multiple parishes with family statuses and budget numbers specific to each parish.

Why is there a Churches Tab?

The Churches tab shows all the parishes where the family might be involved. This is especially useful when a parish belongs to a cluster or pastorate, allowing administrators to easily see the family’s connection within the diocese or cluster.

Another great advantage of this feature is that it helps avoid creating duplicate family records across the diocese.

The Registered indicator applies to only one parish at a time, meaning a family can be registered with just one church. You can toggle the button to switch between different parishes.

Add a Church to a Family Record

Use the +Add Church button to add a new church to the family's list. As a result, the family record is then copied to the new church's ChMS database with a status of New.

Unregister from Church

Use this function to remove the affiliation of the family with your church.
