Entering Pledges and Contributions in Fund Maintenance
This article will give you an overview of adding pledges and contributions through the Fund Maintenance.

Entering Pledges
- Click on Funds via the top navigation bar and select Fund Maintenance. Open your desired fund by clicking on the fund name, then select the Active Pledges tab.
- Click New Pledge, and a pop-up will appear where you can enter your pledge information. In this pop-up you can type either the Family's last name, or their budget number. There are also fields for the pledge amount, frequency, from/to date, as well as comments. If you do not put a From/To Date, eCatholic ChMS will assume it is a one-time pledge and mark it as such. Comments are optional.
3. Click Save when you have entered your pledges for the fund you chose.
Entering Contributions
- Click on Funds via the top navigation bar and select Fund Maintenance. Open your desired fund by clicking on the fund name, then select the Contributions tab.
2. You are now ready to enter your contribution information.
- Select a Contribution Date. The contribution date does not need to be the same for all contributions entered into the fund.
- In the Family field enter the last name or budget number of a family record. Select the correct family from the drop-down that appears.
- In the Contributions Amount enter the dollar amount of the contribution. You do not need to enter $ or decimal points unless the contribution amount requires it. For example: you only need to enter 10 for $10.00, and you can enter 10.5 for $10.50.
- If the contribution is Non-Deductible then check the Non-Deductible box. Contributions with this box checked will not be included in Annual Year-End Statements.
- If you'd like to add/edit/delete information in the Reference or Comments fields, select the down arrow, Show/Hide Comments, next to the Save button.
- Enter the check number in the Reference field, or you can say it's a cash contribution
- Enter any comments that are meaningful to you and this entry if applicable.
- Click Save when you have entered each contribution for the fund you chose.
Note: Within the Fund Maintenance, you can only see contributions made during the past 2 years. To see ALL historical contributions for a fund, you can generate a Fundraising Report.
