How to edit the contact email or phone for your account

The contact email or phone attached to your account will be utilized for communication. For example, if you are a member of an organization that uses eCatholic Connect to send messages via email or text, you may subscribe to emails and texts from that organization.

Then, messages sent by that organization will be delivered to your contact email and/or contact phone according to your communication preferences for that organization.

How to edit your contact email

  1. Log in to your account - Go to app.ecatholic.com and log in with your current login email.
  2. Go to the My Profile screen - Once logged in, go to the User Profile dropdown (top right corner of the screen) and click My Profile.
  3. Click the Edit button for your contact email - On the My Profile screen, go to the Communication Preferences section and locate your current contact email, then click Edit.
  4. Enter your new contact email - Enter the new contact email you want to use for your eCatholic account.
  5. Verify your new contact email - You will then be prompted to verify you own the email address by entering a verification code sent to that email.

Moving forward, email messages will be delivered to this address for organizations in which you have subscribed to receive emails via eCatholic Connect.

How to edit your contact phone

  1. Log in to your account - Go to app.ecatholic.com and log in with your current login email.
  2. Go to the My Profile screen - Once logged in, go to the User Profile dropdown (top right corner of the screen) and click My Profile.
  3. Click the Edit button for your contact phone - On the My Profile screen, go to the Communication Preferences section and locate your current contact phone, then click Edit.
  4. Enter your new contact phone - Enter the new contact phone you want to use for your eCatholic account.
  5. Verify your new contact phone - You will then be prompted to verify you own the phone by entering a verification code sent to that number.

Moving forward, text messages will be delivered to this number for organizations in which you have subscribed to receive text messages via eCatholic Connect.

Your contact email and login email can be unique email addresses. Likewise, your contact phone and the phone you use for 2FA can also be unique numbers.
