How to log in to your eCatholic Website

Let's go through the process of logging in to your website. This help article will answer the following questions:

1. How do I log in to my website?

How do I log into my website?

Let's take a look at the basics of logging in. 

First, navigate to your website's URL. (ie. MyParish.org). Then, scroll to the very bottom of your website and click the "Login" link, next to "powered by eCatholic":

The login fields will pop up in a modal and from here you can enter your credentials and click LOGIN:

Once logged in you are ready to edit your website!

What if I have never logged in before?

If you are a new administrator, publisher, or author on your eCatholic website, you will receive an email notifying you of your username and a password creation link. 

If you created a password that you can no longer remember, you can follow the login steps above, then select "Reset Password" at the bottom of the login screen. From there, you will enter your username:

Follow the instructions in your email to reset your password!   

What do I do if I don't know my username?

You will be sent your username in your initial "Welcome to eCatholic" email! You can refer back to that email, ask the administrator on the site, or email us at [email protected] and we can let you know what your username is.

What do I do if I don't know my password?

Because passwords are encrypted upon creation, we are not able to retrieve forgotten passwords! You can reset your password using the above steps.
