Updating Your Website Email for eCatholic ID

Setting up eCatholic ID requires accessing the email platform for the email address tied to your website account. If you are using an outdated email address, please follow these steps (or, if you are a Publisher or Author, work with an Admin) to update your website account so it is tied to an active email address.

  1. Log into your eCatholic website via the legacy login (i.e. username + password)

  2. Click on your name in the upper right corner.
  3. Click User Preferences.
  4. In the resulting window, edit the email address listed in the Email field.
  5. Click Save.

While we recommend taking the steps above, users with an existing eCatholic ID under a different email address can also log into their eCatholic ID account and add their website user's email address as the "communication" email for eCatholic ID, using these instructions. Your website will be able to match any email linked to your eCatholic ID, allowing you to successfully log in via your eCatholic ID.
